E’ morto Pollack a 73 anni per un tumore. Nel nostro breve incontro il ricordo di un uomo sorridente,gentile e affabile, perfettamente a suo agio nel marasma della kermesse veneziana chiamata "La mostra del Cinema di Venezia" .
L’impressione fu quella di una persona semplice che amava il suo lavoro ed era in grado di portare in giro il suo volto con estrema tranquillità, senza pavoneggiarsi, ne atteggiarsi a nulla. Questo è il dono dei "grandi"
